Maggie Heigl, Maid of Honor. Maggie is Hannah’s half-sister. Just kidding. This was the fib Hannah and Maggie told everyone in 2009 at Camp Highpoint. The two met when they were around 8 or 9 years old through swimming. They typically could not be told apart when they were both in a swimsuit, cap, and goggles (although Maggie always got much tanner in the summertime!). Both only children, Hannah and Maggie found sisterhood in each other. Hannah and Maggie thrived in the summer. Their days consisted of swim practice in the morning, camp during the day, and swim meets at night. Although they never attended the same school, their friendship grew through family vacations and Saturday swim meets (which would end with a fabulous dinner that Hannah and Maggie would absolutely annihilate). While the pair had a long distance friendship in college (Go Gators!), they always kept in touch and were there for one another. When Maggie moved back to the area after obtaining her masters degree from UF, Hannah and Maggie could be found sharing an after-work or weekend cocktail, playing some kind of board game, or hanging out with their parents. Hannah is honored to have Maggie at her side on her wedding day.
Jenna Kasman, Bridesmaid. Jenna is Steve’s sister. Hannah first met Jenna in the early days of the pandemic at an outdoor trivia night at a local bar. Hannah’s first impression of Jenna was that Jenna was really bad at trivia. Little did Hannah know she would be gaining a lifelong friend, mentor, and sister. Jenna graduated law school two years before Hannah and was instrumental in mentoring her throughout law school, the bar exam, and the job search. Hannah was honored to have Jenna make the motion to nominate Hannah’s entry to the Pennsylvania Bar. Hannah is even more honored to have Jenna by her side on her wedding day.
Keri Ann Kasman, Bridesmaid. Keri Ann is also Steve’s sister. Hannah first met Keri Ann during the early days of the pandemic. The two immediately bonded over being “girly girls.” They both love makeup, books, pop culture, and sceney restaurants. Hannah and Keri are known to take full advantage of a karaoke machine (Keri singing Taylor Swift, and Hannah singing Ariana Grande). Keri is the little sister Hannah always dreamed of having, and Hannah can’t wait to create more memories with her in the years to come (preferably on a nice vacation, since Keri is an avid traveler).
Kellie Evanik, Bridesmaid. Kellie and Hannah grew up across the street from each other, making Kellie one of Hannah’s oldest friends. Their earliest memories together include having a sleepover to watch High School Musical 2, and watching the NORAD Santa Claus tracker on Christmas Eve. Hannah and Kellie (and the Soissons and Evaniks) have spent numerous holidays and birthdays together. Hannah and Kellie also enjoy singing karaoke with their mothers, preferably after a bottle of wine. Kellie is practically family to Hannah, and Hannah is thrilled to have Kellie by her side on her wedding day.
Emily Rex Hill, Bridesmaid. Emily is one of Hannah’s close friends (and, fine, also the beautiful wife of Joseph Hill — Steve’s Best Man). Emily and Joe began dating shortly after Steve and Hannah. The four went out for the first time in the fall of 2020 in Manayunk, and the rest was history! From then on, the four met up regularly to hang out (and most notably to play Guitar Hero, poker, Fortnite, Wavelength, corn hole, and darts). While Steve and Joe were golfing (or doing God knows what else), Emily and Hannah would spend hours at the King of Prussia Mall or watching spicy TV shows. Hannah was honored to be a bridesmaid at Emily and Joe’s wedding and is ecstatic to now have Emily by her side for hers.
Joseph Hill, Best Man. Joe is one of Steve’s closest friends. If you have met Joe, there is not much to say that you do not already know about him (and he has probably asked you what your favorite color is). The two have been inseparable since freshman year of high school, spending their early days not paying attention in class, playing backyard games, and golfing every weekend. During college, they were constantly on FaceTime, talking nonsense. Joe was the first person Steve told about Hannah and Joe even helped him prepare for their first date. When Steve and Hannah became official, Joe welcomed her with open arms and plenty of impractical and hypothetical questions. Not long after, Joe began dating his now wife, Emily, and the two couples have been inseparable ever since, vacationing together in Venice, Florida and Atlantic City. Joe was also Steve and Hannah’s realtor through a 2+ year house hunting adventure (sorry about that, Joe), eventually helping them secure their dream home. As you can see, Steve and Joe’s friendship has come a long way since high school.
Evan Lalli, Groomsman. Evan is Steve’s closest friend since middle school. They spent most weekends together playing basketball, football, and making fun of each other. Steve and Evan are the chatterboxes of the group, filling every silence with random and mostly useless information. Their funniest and loudest moments happen on the golf course, where both struggle to break 100 and spend more time chasing balls in the woods than on the fairway. Together, they have been fortunate enough to attempt the sport of golf in Palm Springs, Jupiter, and Ocean City.
Brendan Cullura, Groomsman. Brendan is one of Steve’s best friends from high school. The two have been close since freshman year and only grew closer as time went on. People often called them an “old married couple” because of how they can bicker about any topic for hours. One of them could say, “Today is Tuesday,” and before you know it, they would be arguing about which day of the week is best. Steve and Brendan have been on countless beach day trips, late nights playing Fortnite until 3 am (always landing in the same spot every round, Tomato Fawts, something only Brendan will understand), and having endless stupid (but hilarious) conversations during their rides home from school.
Kyle Nefferdorf, Groomsman. Kyle is one of Steve’s best friends from high school. The two met on the soccer team freshman year but became close during sophomore year. While Steve was rehabbing an injury, he and Kyle spent every game on the sideline, warming up the bench and talking nonsense for the entire match. Steve can always count on Kyle for a good time, especially when he needs to be dragged out of his homebody habits and kept up past midnight. They have spent countless weekends in Wildwood, playing spikeball on the beach before heading to the Firehouse until 3 am (even though Steve was usually ready to call it a night by 11).
Cole Kitchen, Groomsman. Cole is Steve’s childhood best friend. The two have lived across the street from each other since they were just a few months old. If Steve was not home, his parents knew he was with Cole. They spent countless hours playing every sport imaginable: football, basketball, baseball, you name it. They were fiercely competitive, leading to endless arguments over things like “your foot was on the line,” “that was a foul,” or “I’m faster than you.” Occasionally, one of them would storm home after a fight, only to be back 10 minutes later playing a different game. Steve is thrilled to still have Cole by his side after all these years.
